Company and Calamity

The sarcophagus seemed to rotate to face Kyuubi. "TIME!" A wave of energy washed over the group. The flowers that got in the way began to wilt at a surprising rate.

Desire looked slightly confused "huh..." She swung her hand up again and nearly one hundred more rose out of the ground. Kyuubi looked at the wilted roses and to the things on The walls, "Time..." he echoed the commander's words. Syrix looked up at Kyuubi "does he really have..." he began to ask, Kyuubi nodded "it would appear to be so." he said. His eyes seemed to flicker a different color for a moment "do you think they know?" Syrix gestured to the coffin, Kyuubi nodded again "I believe so..." he responded

Another wave washed over the group and it became apparent the group began to age older. The commander groans again and the entity inside the slams the sarcophagus. Despite the locks and chains being gone, it still remains inside.

The group was unaffected by the waves that were being emitted, they did not age any older. They just looked at each other, confused, as though they expected something to happen. Sky had to take a double take at Kyuubi. His eyes shined a gold color and he had odd black tattoos all over him, they seemed to expand from his for head, he gave off an almost indefinable vibe. He growled "no." his voice seemed deeper. He sent out a pulse almost equal to the one before, but stronger. Suddenly the roses that wilted reverted back to the way they were before the first pulse Desire looked surprised, now there was even more roses before. Out of nowhere, Kyuubi appeared behind the sarcophagus, he struck it twice with his blades. Then out of nowhere, another Kyuubi appeared and struck it across the side, another appeared and struck the other side. More and more Kyuubis came out of thin air and slashed across the sides, front and back of the sarcophagus. They all flipped back, there was nearly millions of him, and they all charged forwards "TIMES UP!" they all shouted in unison. They all thrust their blades through the sarcophagus one after the other, some slashed but most stabbed through it. They all came from multiple directions and moved so fast that they could hardly be seen.

The sarcophagus falls to the floor with a loud bang. The lid is noticeably bend and damaged. With one last slam, the lid flies off and crashes into the floor across the room. A sickly, clothed hand rises out followed by the rest of the body. Covered in gold and gemstones as armor, the parts uncovered are wrapped in cloth. The mummy has many, MANY stab wounds throughout his body. His decayed mouth is mostly uncovered as it seems to be... smiling? He steps out of the coffin and four larger strands of cloth rise up behind it and float in the air, like makeshift hands. Each hand, the two real and the four false, grip the handle of long scimitars. Unsheathing them, then deciding to put them back, the commander laughs. "Well done, Kyuubi. I knew if I had attempted to use that trick, you would most certainly react to it." The doors open. "You've earned the right to advance." The commander then proceeds to pick up a rose and place it in a display glass. "I enjoyed these."

Kyuubi looked at the commander with a blank expression. He seemed almost upset. The black tattoos faded and retracted back to his for head and seemed to vanish. All the Kyuubis were gone, no one saw where they went. "what...what just..." Dabybreak started "Time travel..." Kyuubi said "I should explain this later...(too much to explain now) But I must ask...how where none of you effected by the time wave he sent out?" Kyuubi asked the group "the what?" Sky asked

"It you all have some things to reveal about yourselves, but in the mean time I must make a point that your time capabilities won't work too well outside of this room, so use them wisely." The commander proceeded to walk around the room picking up bits and pieces of locks and chains before lifting the lid with his false arms. The damage to the lids, locks and chains, and the commander himself fade away as he reassembles his sarcophagus. Done with his work, he lazily flops onto the lid and points the group to the door. "I don't mean to sound rude, but go explain this stuff during the next fight."

Kyuubi nodded "yea. I understand. Like I said before, later." Kyuubi said. They all moved through the door into the next room, Desire paused for a second "Y-You might want to be careful with that..." Desire said gesturing to the flower in the case. She then left the room.

Immediately, the group bumps into a large, furry mass. The commander must be standing at the wrong end of the room.

"Um...excuse us..." Kyuubi maniged, being the fist to step through the door he was caught in between the wall of fur and the rest of the team, who had practically piled up due to the sudden stop "but I think your on the wrong side of the room..."

The wall shifted and moved away. The first thing to note was how massive this room was. The other rooms were within reason of relative size, but this room was absolutely huge. Being the largest commander, the creature not only take up much of the room, but it still manages moves away from the group to see them and give them a decent amount of space. The creature looked like a giant rat with glowing green pupils.

Kyuubi brushed himself off "much better." he studied the new chalanger, they all were surprised at the size of both the room and the thing inside the room. "woah..." Sky said looking up.

There was a loud "whooshing" noise as the rat's tail whiped over the group's head and coiled up next to them. There was plenty of rat to hit, but as not only the last commander, but the last defensive commander, it is going to take quite a few hits to defeat this. The rat dragged its massive front teeth against the ground, sharpening them just a little more.

Kyuubi looked at the others "take a side." he said. The group nodded and dispersed. They all moved in several different directions. And took battle positions. "Here we go." Kyuubi said

The rat lunges his jaws at Life and attempts to scratch Desire. The tails whips around with surprising speed and accuracy to slam Daybreak and coil around Tide. The rat's eyes glow a bright green.

Daybreak gets knocked away by the tail and tumbles backwards. Life leaps backwards to dodge the rat's attack. Tide gets caught by the tail and struggles to break free. Desire backflips and shoots a thorny vine out of the ground to wrap around the rat's hand. Shade put his hands on the floor and shadow spikes rose up under the Rat making movement more difficult. Kyuubi and Sky, on the other side, charged at it and struck it's side repetitively in different locations. Daybreak staggered back to his feet.

Tide is thrown at the ceiling before the tail makes a second wide sweep across the room towards Shade. The rat doesn't appear to care about Kyuubi or Sky, as its fur hardens against the attacks, acting like stone. It once again attempts to scratch at Desire, but this time targets Daybreak with its large teeth.

Tide flings his hands out in front of him and catches himself with a by making a ball of water on the ceiling. Dasire backs away a bit further and sharpens the thorns on the vine. Shade bends backwards to an almost impossible position to dodge the tail sweep. Kyuubi and Sky back off "it isn't working..." Kyuubi said "we need a different approach." Life backs up to the wall and kneels on one knee, he puts his hands on the ground and closes his eyes and begins to focus. Daybreak panicked at the sudden attack directed at him and he stumbled backwards. He unintentionally blasted a beam of light into the rat's mouth as he fell backwards which exploded on contact.

The rat fumbles back at the blast before scooting to the wall. The rat bites right through the thorny vines, obviously not pleased at eating thorns. Coiling its tail up, the rat proceeds to steamroll towards the center of the room, attempting to utterly flatten bystanders.

Tide comes down from the ceiling and lands in front of Life, "Everyone to me! Give me a hand here!" Tide stuck out his hands and braced himself. Everyone glanced over at Tide and then to each other and they nodded. Sky, Desire, Shade and Tide all stood in a row making a barricade, they all stood in the same position as Tide, "Kyuubi! Daybreak! Join with us!" Sky shouted. Kyuubi and Daybreak looked at eachother, suprised, Kyuubi helped Daybreak onto his feet and they join in the barricade. They all braced themselves Life gathered more energy "get ready." green energy flowed from Life into the rest of the group.

The rat rolls towards the group with such force, the room seemed about ready to collapse.

The group somehow managed to stop the rat's path Kyuubi looked surprised. The whole group refused to move. The energy increased "here it comes!" Life shouted Life's eyes opened and he leaped above the group "push back NOW!" Life, suspended in the air, thrust his arms forwards, The whole group pulled back and thrust forward their arms at the same time as Life. The energy surrounding all of them shot forward in a beam from all of them fusing to make one huge laser, blasting The Rat back and slamming it into the wall with immense force.

Upon impact, the rat exploded, spraying rocky shards and a green fluid across the entire room. A much smaller rat stood up on its hind legs, clearly dizzy. The fluid felt strange.

Life landed on the ground in front of the group. "ew..." Sky said, he looked at the green ooze. He put his hands together and a burst of wind rose around the members of the group blowing off any that might have landed on them. Daybreak looked at the much smaller Rat in confusion.

The rat finds its balance and smiles to the group. The symbols on the door glow the same green as the fluid and the door opens. The rat's eyes glow green again and the rat suddenly super-sizes back to its regular height.
