Company and Calamity

Daybreak looked up and saw the others, Desire blinked in confusion, Tide and Sky looked at each other and Life looked surprised at the other hall's sudden appearance. The group met in the middle of the two hall ways, "we saw it. We saw the window I saw in my dream! The box was there and evertthing!" Daybreak was a bit exited it seemed. "there where a lot of stained glass windows, they all had some sort of story behind them..." Desire started, "ours did to. They seemed to be historical events in Hyrax's past." Kyuubi responded "I saw a lot of things I didn't understand..." Sky said "a lot of it made sense to me...it was very informative." Kyuubi said, he recalled some of the glass windows and what they represented. The Hollow looked down the new hall way in the middle of the two attached ones. The group paused for a moment and looked down the hall as well..."d-do you think he's down there?" Daybreak asked nervously "only one way to find out." Life responded, he began walking and so did the entire group. Kyuubi stood in front again and Daybreak hesitated before following the group...

The walk was long. The group turned down different hallways, passing rooms and blank windows. They even went up and down a few staircases and through the entire library. The group then stopped at a corner. Down this next hall was the infirmary and then the throne room.

They all stopped and looked down the hall way..."it worries me that the throne room in the same area as the infermery." Syrix laughed nervously. Kyuubi took a deep breath,They started walking towards the throne room, slower than before but they continued their advance...

The group passes the infirmary. There are beds lining the walls. A few people are in there, but no sign of Hyrax. The group approaches the throne room.

Life smiled a little as they passed through the infermery "this is the kind of room I know all to well. Even though it isn't exactly the same, It still kind of reminds me of home." Sky smiled a little and then they all stopped in front of the gates to the throne room. They all take another breath, Daybreak closes his eyes and finds his courage, "here we go" Kyuubi said softly and they all walk into the throne room

Inside the throne room was the same pillars and large windows as last time. Hyrax nervously stood next to the large throne. "O-oh. H-hello." Hyrax looks at the group. "I d-don't recall we've ever s-spoken." He chuckles, obviously scared. "D-Did you know th-this throne is c-cardb-board?" Hyrax pokes the throne. It falls forward, flat as a board with a single piece sticking out the back to support it if it were still upright. The fake throne did, however, reveal absolutely colossal doors behind it. "That was k-kinda funny."

The group stands, very confused "...what?" Syrix spoke. They looked at Hyrax, Daybreak looked at the large doors that where revaled when the fake throne fell over. Kyuubi looked between the two. The Hollow stepped towards Hyrax "Hyrax?" it spoke...

"O-Oh... You must know th-the Hyrax from h-here. I'm not of th-this d-dimension." The Hyrax gives a very weak chuckle. "I-I've been rec-covering from injuries. The one f-from here i-is in the real th-throne room. This one is a d-decoy." The Hyrax motions towards the giant doors. "The -r-real one is b-beyond those doors a little w-ways." The other Hyrax seems frightened by the group.

Desire steps forwards, in the hopes of maybe making this Hyrax feel less fearfull of the group. "thank you Hyrax. You've made finding the real throne room much simpler than it could have been." She tried making him feel important to seem more friendly. The group begins walking towards the large doors which supposedly held the actual throne room.

"I'm g-glad I was able to help." The Hyrax appears to smile a little. "Beyond these doors is a court yard and across it is the d-door. It's quite relaxing and only s-specific people can see it. G-good luck." The Hyrax grips one of the handles of the giant doors and pulls. The handles don't even swing outwards, but strangely enough, the doors slowly open. A bright, warm light pours in. The courtyard was a large, grassy square. In the center was a large pond and on the small island in the pond was a massive cherry tree. It's pink blossoms gently fell and drifted across the yard and pond on a non-existent breeze. Door lined the courtyard, but another set of giant doors could be seen across the yard.

"chery blossoms..." Daybreak smiled when he spotted the tree in the middle of the pond, he turned to Desire and she smiled slightly back at him. They advanced through the door into the cort yard "thanks again!" Sky shouted to Hyrax as he passed through after the rest of the group. They entered the cort yard. As they wandered to the other door their pace slowed down to a calm walking speed. All of the members of the group seemed to be enjoying the oddly calm atmosphere in the room.

The doors on the sides of the courtyard were each marked by a symbol. The giant door, however, was not only marked by each one, but four gigantic symbols of unknown meaning. The doors slowly opened as the group approached. The room inside could not be seen, as a strange grey veil of energy slowly waved and pulsed in the doorway. It would have to be passed through in order to enter the next room.

They stopped in front of the door and looked at the grey veil. Kyuubi put his hands out in front of him and braced himself, just in case. He pushed himself through the grey veil in the door.

The veil felt like nothing, but for some reason, the door and courtyard behind Kyuubi were gone. There was a solid brick wall. Going back was now impossible, but the others could follow Kyuubi through the veil.

After the group saw Kyuubi go through they all followed behind trough the veil. They stumbled through the wall into the new room. They all look around the room now that all of them had entered the aria.

The room looked a lot like the false throne room, but the only way out was another pair of doors across the room. A piece of paper lied on the floor, reading "When each opponent has been defeated, the next door will open." The doors in the room opened once again. Like the previous door, there was a grey veil.

They looked at each other "I don't like where this is going." Kyuubi said after reading the note. They all turned to the new door and walked towards it looking around the whole room the entire time. Kyuubi's hands hovered near his tails. He stood ready as did most of the group as well. They continued to the door.

The next room was different. The walls and pillars were damaged and covered in vines and moss. The ground was soft and grassy. The only untouched structure was the next set of doors. Standing between the group and the next room, was Oakley. It grumbled and mumbled something to itself before giving a soft, apologetic wave hello to the group. Oakley slowly moved towards the group.

The group looked at one another. Kyuubi kept his hands behind him. Daybreak waved slowly back at the creature nervously. Life inspected this new being and put his hand up to his chin, he looked as though he was thinking. Sky looked at the large doors. No one moved very much and they all kept a close watch on the thing that was slowly approaching them.

Unfortunately, there was only one way to get to the next room, and Oakley quickly turns agitated and slams a massive, barked fist into the ground, narrowly missing the group. The vines stir and begin to wildly whip about.

Kyuubi, half expecting this to happen, whipped out his two blades whith incredible speed and slashed at any vines that had appeared too close. Daybreak panicked and leaped away from the creature. Sky stepped next to Kyuubi and blew a gust of wind at the Oakley to dissorient and blow it backwards. The group all took fighting positions and where ready to attack.

Oakley, surprised by the wind, takes a few steps back and... rubs his eyes. Large bulbs appear across Oakley's arms. When they open, clouds of spores burst out, creating a bit of a smoke screen and a bit of an airborne hazard. The bulbs disappear and Oakley wildly swings an arm at Sky.

Kyuubi, beeing close to Sky, blocked it's arm with one sword and he struck it with the other. Sky leaped back a little giving Kyuubi some room to swing.

The sword lodges itself into the bark on Oakley's arm. Stopping all aggression, Oakley stops and pulls out the sword. After observing and apparently approving of it, Oakley kindly hands it back to Kyuubi, giving some what of a smile. A green mist sprinkles from Oakley's canopy onto the wound and it heals.

after taking his sword back, Kyuubi stands for a moment, confused about what just happened. he noticed that it had healed it's self and moved back a little in a defensive stance as he anticipated it to strike again.
