The place sat on a short street in Rustleburg, tucked away behind a faded façade and a paint-chipped sign with the bar name in scrawling, Romanesque type face that looked like it would have fit better in a museum rather than it's counterpart in reality. Despite being a pub, it looked like more of a run-down building- a wooden bench lined the length of the establishment, broken only when it connected with the bar counter, directly adjacent to the entryway, and again broken only when it came into contact with the front door. The bench was of wood, and scattered along its length were tables, many of which, at this hour, were occupied, they still held the glasses and emptied mugs from the crew of men who inhabited the tavern, of which several patrons were about the bar at various levels of intoxication.

In the corner of the large main room of the pub, the blonde sat, waiting. It did not quite know what for, but a stop at a tavern beat the boredom that the road brought about. Perhaps something interesting would happen.

Hyrax opens the door, but unfortunately, takes it off it's hinges, resulting in it knocking to the floor. The abrupt bang silenced the pub briefly. The scraggly man behind the counter gave a groan of annoyance. Not one of them had noted the Sage's unusual appearance. Being a creature unlike any other, Hyrax was sure to draw at least an eye or two where ever he went. At least Hyrax wasn't very hungry. That would've been a disaster all on its own. Hyrax was too focused to consume something. He couldn't find his amulet. Exhausted and defeated, he sat down at a lonely table off to the side of the pub, actually hoping not to draw any unwanted attention.

The single-eyed blonde glanced up as the door to the pub was knocked to the floor. A few unruly patrons had stood up, but sat down after a few seconds, disinterested. From his laid back sitting position, it was impossible to see just who had entered, until they had passed by to the side of the club, taking a seat at an empty table. The unusual appearance of the visitor caused Samuael to raise one of his eyebrows. He'd never seen anything quite so... Eh, so like the being he laid his eyes upon. Perhaps after a moment or two he'd get up, and walk over. For now, he just observed.

Hyrax glanced out a nearby window. Clouds rolled over head, causing him to shift uneasily. He wasn't a fan of thunder, but Ragrax is another story entirely. Right now, his mind was overflowing with thoughts of the amulet. If anyone figured out how it worked... No, it was impossible. Only he could use it. He made it. Still, it had an appearance of high value. Maybe he'd check around local shops. The sludgey substance, most likely vomit, on the floor reminded him of Xandrax and the clock brought memories of Deltrax. Hyrax had a feeling they were in this world, too. Somewhere. Knowing, Xandrax, he probably melted down and hid somewhere, forgetting he was melted down. Deltrax was probably solving problems and organizing grains of sand or something. Ragrax was probably with Deltrax, planning out how he was going to "try and stop Hyrax".

The man continued to observe the new occupant of the bar, raising an eyebrow. He tilted his head back, an occupant thrown through the space it had occupied, by another intoxicated patron. Standing, he made his way over to the one he had been watching, sitting without a word.

Hyrax looks up from his daydream to notice a strange man sitting before him. How long he's been there is unknown.

Kyuubi walks into the tavern and begins to look for a place to sit, briefly glancing down at a shineing object in his hand

Sensing his amulet nearby, Hyrax quickly looks around, trying to locate it's presence. All he can see are intoxicated people, a grumpy bartender, and a strange...thing observing what appeared to be a pocket watch, but from the angle he was looking, it could've been anything. Hyrax returned to his business, pulling a glass mug from his pouch and swallowing it in one bite. Satisfied, Hyrax laid back. When he looked up, the strange man was still sitting there. Hyrax had all but forgotten about him.

Kyuubi sits down at a table across from Hyrax and pulls out the shining object out of his pocket and holds it in his hand to inspect the object.

Celosia yawned, pushing the double light, swinging halfdoors to the pub open, a cloak on, hood up. He glanced around, proceeding to the only table with seats open, the one housing Kyuubi and Hyrax. "...Hello there."

Sensing his amulet nearby, Hyrax twitches and shifts rapidly. He begins to eat the table in an attempt to calm his nerves, taking huge chunks and horking them down. Soon the table, chairs, and several floorboards were consumed. He had to find it. He absolutely had to. The stranger with the object was looking at the watch again and the cloaked-man, who probably just spoke, was just standing there. Something was off about the two of them, but... The amulet! Where was it? Someone in this pub had it. He'd find it if he had to eat everyone in the facility, that was human or an object. Luckily, his cloak was still on, so his secret still remained hidden... for now...

Kyuubi, in shock, stuffs the small object in his pocket and jumps out of the char just in time for Hyrax to eat it. He is startled and backs up towards the door and By fax sences it getting further away.

It's on the move... Getting farther, but everyone is moving. Getting drinks. Dancing. Falling on the floor, too drunk to stand. Hyrax begins to growl. A low, but fearsome to those close enough to hear it. Hyrax considers magic. He had the abilities to do so and no one in this pub could even harm him as far as he knows. He knows the attacks. It wouldn't be hard. It'd be over in a flash...

Quickly Kyuubi grabs a small rock and throws it at Hyrax to get his attention and then raises up the small shinning object up to were he can see it, somehow he knew this is what he was looking for, then he runs out the broken door expecting Hyrax to fallow.

Hyrax sees the amulet, shining in the hand of the cloaked man. He darts out the door. Without thinking, Hyrax unleashes a Blitzkrieg and the following sounds deafens the pub, splinters wood and smashes the windows. Sensing someone wasn't silenced, Hyrax goes into a fury and charges after the man with his amulet. Hyrax exits the pub and looks around wildly for the man, but has lost sight of him. Growing increasingly enraged, Hyrax prepares another attack...

Kyuubi's figure foarms from a shadow on the ground behind Hyrax and he grabs his back turns him around and stares directly into Hyrax's eyes. His eyes look like they belonged to a Dragon, his eyes seemed to slightly petrafy Hyrax as well as calm him down, his Dragon like eyes seemed to do this to him. Kyuubi then sais "pleas tell me, who are you and why is this so important to you. Don't try to lie, I can see right through your disguise including lies."

Hyrax, nearly petrified by the sudden advance, finds himself lost in thought, thinking back to a kingdom. His kingdom. Where he and his people roamed. A tear streaks down Hyrax's face. "Please. I need them." The cloak Hyrax was wearing dissolves into zeros and ones, revealing his figure.

"Them? Who them" Kyuubi says, somewhat bewildered of what seemed to be a subject change. The Dragon fire in his glowing eyes seemed to die down and he loosened his grip on Hyrax.

"My people. My army. My kingdom. Beyond millions. In your hands holds the universe's largest kingdom. A kingdom with no bounds or limits..." Hyrax is sobbing. "My c-creations..." Hyrax sways slightly and faints.

Shocked Kyuubi nearly dropes the madalion but catches the object before it hits the ground. He stares at the amulet then at Hyrax and back to the amulet "Army, kingdom, the universe's largest kingdom!" he echoed Hyrax's words... He reverseses Hyrax's faint so he wakes back up. "What do you been?"

Hyrax's eyes roll around, causing him to mutter nonsense. In a swift movement, Hyrax taps the gem and causes it to glow. Hyrax sinks his pincer in it and pulls out a huge, shimmering orb. Hyrax holds it up, allowing light to pass right through it, undisturbed.

Kyuubi stares at Hyrax in surprise and awe "wha-!"

Hyrax, who's eyes are still rolling, begins to absorb the strange orb.

"What's happening!" Kyuubi exlames as he looks around at were he is.

The ground begins to rumble and Hyrax rises from the ground slightly. Hyrax disappears. A huge object falls from the sky and crashes in the distance resulting in a huge explosion. The ground calms down.
