"...There's never been a good war, kid. You know what? We should get this over with." The Sages proceeded to open the doors in very unique ways, each door suited for the Sage it belonged to. The Sages entered the doors, but when they shut, all sound was cut off. It was as if they weren't even in the same dimension anymore.

"Where did they go?" Kyuubi asked

"A trial only they can beat. Each one suited to the Sage and tests their weakest aspect. From what they've said before, it's a battle with another creature of not only the same magical element, but has the strength of their GrandStatus." Katlynn explains. "I don't have a door because I'm not a Sage, but-" A door opens and a large bison-like creature walks through. In a flash, Steven is left standing in it's place, panting heavily. "WOOO! That was tougher than I remember. I got the energy though, so we're good." Steven holds up a ball of green energy.

"What is this?" Kyuubi asked inspecting the green ball in Steven's hands, "I don't think that I've seen anything like this before"

"It's Forest Magic compressed into an orb. Exceptionally powerful, if I absorb it, I may overload with too much energy." Steven hrows the orb and it locks into a hole in the ceiling. A mechanical dragon exits a door. Ragrax flashes out of it. "DANG IT STEVEN! I wanted to be first." The robotic Sage locks in his orb into it's place.

"So what happens when all the orbs are put into place?" Kyuubi asks jestureing towards the gaps were the orbs will and are placed

A massive cobra enters the room and a boy dressed like a miner appears. "Talkin' about the orbs? Well, once we get them all in, GrandHyrax will appear." The miner locks in his orb. "Oh, I'm Jason." A centipede-like monster enters and an armored figure locks in an orb. "That's Xandrax. He doesn't talk much." A skeleton resembling a bear and what seems to be a blind hyena emerge. The Sages look like a reaper and a shepard. They lock in their orbs and continue a heated conversation about something as if they didn't stop. "Those are Axel and Harley. Sages of Darkness and Light, respectively. They get along... decently."

"So how many orbs are required now?" Kyuubi looked around at the room where all the orbs are being placed

"Sixteen. There's sixteen to gain." A shark-like creature enters. The Sage wears a diver's suit that appears to be flooded on the inside. They locked in a blue orb. "Looks like Micheal's back. Somehow all that water inside the suit doesn't affect him. Just makes talking to him difficult, but Nick somehow manages. And she's wearing a hazmat suit.."

"just a question, out of curiosity, do all of the orbs represent different elements?" Syrix asks the sage

A flaming bat with a long tail and three eyes fluttered in. The Sage was the burning one from before. He locked in his orb, too. "Yes. All the orbs have a different magic type." A large, frosty beast lumbers in. It bears resemblance to a rabbit. The Sage wears a parka and wields a large, square hammer. She locks in her orb and sighs. "It's never easy beating these trials."

"Wait, you've done this before?" Kyuubi asked "how many times?" Syrix continued the question, still disguised as Kyuubi's scarf

"About twice. Same stuff but never gets any easier." A monstrous...thing comprised of crystals emerged. The Sage was garbed an armoire fashioned of the same material. He too locked away an orb.

Kyuubi looked around at the room and turned to the sage " what happens when hyrax appears?" he asks "what do we do then?"

"Well when that happens, we're gonna... Well... I don't know." A puppet enters the room. Strings connected to it's body parts disappear at the ceiling. It hold two sticks meant for controlling puppets. Where a head should be, a large glowing eye blinks slowly. Lewis flashes out of the creature and locks in his orb. "We're gonna have lots of fun once big buddy comes back!" Lewis stares at Kyuubi with a sinister smile before turning to talk to another Sage.

"define 'fun' for me please. I don't think I understand exactly what you mean." Syrix asks Lewis

The room seems to dim and grow quiet. Though Kyuubi and Syrix are experiencing this, it becomes apparent no one else is. Lewis's voice echoes in their minds. "Heh. Big buddy and I love to play games... We understand eachother... Not even Deltrax is aware of our bond... I woudn't be surprised if we caught him off gaurd... Oh the screams... Watch out Kyuubi... There's little time left..." The room "returns" to normal. Kyuubi and Syrix are left with a mild headache. A ghostly dragon enters the room. The Sage is covered in a hazmat suit. Gases cloud the screen on the inside. They lock in a purple-ish orb and join a conversation with Micheal.

Kyuubi stands in the middle of the room and Syrix goes limp and looks like Kyuubi's scarf again. The look on Kyuubi's face was a mix of worry and confusion and he just stood fora couple of seconds and then shook the feeling away. "Not even Deltrax is aware of our bond... Watch out Kyuubi... There's little time left..." the words echoed in his mind a bit longer.

A deer-like creature and a scorpion enter the chamber. A Sage wearing a visored helmet locks in an orb while the other, garbed in a robe of similar style to Deltrax, locks in one aswell. "Only Deltrax to go and we will have reached our goal."

"Alright, so we are nearly complete." Kyuubi exlames "we just need one more."

A winged serpant, followed by Deltrax's trademark floating hands, enters the room. "Well my. Friends it is time to lock. In the final piece." Lewis glances over to Kyuubi with the same demented smile before Deltrax locks in the final orb.

Kyuubi looks at Lewis then looks around at all the elemental orbs all locked into place, trying to ignore Lewis and his demented smile.

The orbs flash once and swirl together in the center ofthe room. A flash of negativity washes over the room for a breif moment before Deltrax knods to Katylnn. Katlynn responds by streching her hands out, as if about to give someone a hug. A nice, calm flow of multi-colored energy seeps out of her hands and swirls the opposite way the orb's energy is. The spiral begins to slow. The loud crack of a whip startles the entire room. Lewis had mistakenly cracked his whip out of anticipation. Katlynn fumbles back. The spiral resumes it's vortex at an alarming rate. The siloette of a monster appears before the spiral blasts outward, knocking everyone in the room against the walls. Only raspy breathing can be heard. In the center of the room stood GrandHyrax, unmoving, almost like a statue.

Kyuubi staggers as he pushes himself off the wall and forward, "is that... Hyrax?" Syrix asks quietly to Kyuubi, "somehow he seems... differant." Kyuubi process to slowly approach grand Hyrax but then stops and looks at him, somehow ,like Syrix had said, he seemed diferant. Kyuubi looked at him and then looked around the room for the other sages "oh the screams..." Lewis's voice came again "watch out kyuubi... Theres little time left...".

GrandHyrax stands there, motionless. It seems like armor covering his body is made of a universe or something. "G-Grand... Hyr-r-r-ax... Heh..." Lewis collapses. Only Hyrax's breathe can be heard. Deltrax fires a wave of energy at him. It fizzles on contact with the armor. "...." GrandHyrax looks up from the floor. "He did not. Even feel that? Kyuubi." Deltrax looks over at Kyuubi and Syrix.
