Company and Calamity

The lady had no idea what Tide was doing. She failed to see his hands and his smirk. She began to look around the room if she hadn't noticed something.

He looked directly at the lady "I was looking for..." he clenched his hands into a fist and the swinging and twirling stopped "a Diversion!" he flung his hand up in the air and opened it back into the Palm position. What no one seemed to notice because they where all focused on Tide was the floor around the lady at the door but not directly under her, was a huge puddle of water that he had placed there when no one was looking. The water sprung up and wrapped itself around the lady. "surprise!" he said. He spun and thrust his arm forwards. This flung her against the wall with a powerfull force.

The lady was dazed, but quickly rose to her feet. "Why did you have to get my dress wet? This is humiliating." She seemed more upset about the dress than the fact she was thrown across the room.

Tide looked in satisfied with the results, he let out a "huh." before doing the same thing again in the other direction. Desire watched and did nothing as she didn't seem like she needed to, her eyelids where lowered again so you could only see half her eye's.

"Would you just stop?! Your going to rip apart my outfit and I would rather have us all not embarrassed." The lady recovers quickly again and looks angerly at Tide. She looks at Desire. "Is he always like this?"

Desire looks at Tide "well..." She blinked and turned back to the lady "he's sort of...cocky..." she shrugged "he kinda just does what he wants to. So...yea, he is almost always like this." she looked at him out of the corners of her eyes. he looked at Desire and gave her a face that, translated into words, would mean "really?"

"At least he has the skills to back up his ego." The lady squeezes water out of her dress, unintentionally giving the group a brief glimpse of her leg... If there would be a leg. All that was seen was a shadow. "Diamond was right. I shiuld have worn the ball gown." The lady chuckles. "You've met Diamond, right? Funny gal. She isn't real aware of her beauty, but she has a decent sense of humor. She gets carried away in battle from time to time, so we joke her name is actually Blood Diamond." The lady laughs for a quick moment while squeezing more water out. She grows somewhat frustrated at the sheer amount of water she has yet to squeeze out.

Tide stopped and started thinking. He watched the lady fo a moment and sighs. He pointed both his hands forward with his palms pointing at the lady, he slowly pulled back his arms. The water that was clinging onto her drifted towards Tide, Her dress released all the water and also drifted towards Tide. He put his hands together and then swung them outward, the water, now in the air, balled up and then evaporated into steam. The lady was now completely dry. He took a breath and then dropped his hands to his sides again. Desire smirked for a moment.

"Thank you, but drying me off won't stop me from changing." The lady's dress disolved away, but her body was entirely shadowy. "My victims during battle have always described me in horrific fashion. I don't blame them. Most enemies fall into a trance at my singing or my looks. The ones that aren't effected witness what comes next." The lady's shadowy body begins to grow and twist. Her head, arms and torso remain the same, but her lower half morphs into what appeard to be a giant mantis. Her eyes widen slightly and she smiles, revealing massive dagger-like teeth. "Let's get you through that door."

Desire looked surprised for a moment but then smiled "right." She got in a fighting stance Tide blinked and stared at the lady in surprise, he swung his hands up and then down again, the water which he had turned to vapor reversed itself back into a ball of water. It drifted down and around him in a ring. He took his version of a battle stance.

The lady hissed. She was larger than most of the opponents the group fought. "Let's begin." The lady breathes a cloud of gas towards all of the group. The areas touched by the gas on the way seem to melt, but does not affect the lady. She rushes forward, raising her scythe-like claws for a strike.

Desire leaps forward and spinns. when she lands she is holding a rose in one hand and a thorny vine in the other. She throws the rose forwards into the cloud of gas and the rose absorbs the gas, like it had before. At the same time she flung one end of the vine at the lady's scythe like hand and wrapped it around it. She tightened her grip on the vine and did a spinning leap off to the side. When she landed, She faced away from the lady and yanked the vine forwards.

The lady struggles to stand, but keeps her balance by charging at Deisire. Her otherwise human arms attempt to take of the vine, but her other claw swings wildly at her. Farthe down her back, the lady's wings flutter every so often. She sees to be using them for extra balance.

Tide flings one of his arms forward. The ring of floating water reached out and wrapped around the bottom half of the lady like a whip. He pulled once quickly in the opposite direction than Desire to trip the lady. Tide backflipped away from the lady and then the water, no longer acting like a whip, wrapped itself around her wings as well as her bottom half binding them up. Desire got better footing and then yanked the vine once more, with more force then the last time. There was no force comeing from Tide anymore but the water still bound around the lady like a rope.

Stuck, the lady looks around the room and sees the others not fighting. Getting a devious idea, the lady claps around Sky and drag him close to her face. Her mouth opens widely, showing a second row of fangs. A bit of gas flows out of the corner of her mouth. She locks her eyes with Desire, daring any of them to so much as move.

Everyone freezes. Sky snapped out of his trance and blinked "wu-" he suddenly realized what was happening and his eyes seemed to shrink. He nearly screamed. Desire didn't move, Tide was frozen as well. Sky breathed heavily "please don't eat me please don't eat me." Sky mumbled to himself. Tide smirked a little. Desire looked at him in confusion, he winked back...

The lady looks at Sky before exhaling a massive cloud towards Daybreak and Life. Fully aware this will bring ablut retaliation, the lady throws Sky at Desire and turns around to face Tide.

Sky flips through the air and catches himself right before hitting Desire, he floated in the air and there was a small breeze around him, he laughed nervously before landing himself next to her. She congured another rose and threw it at the cloud headed for the group, it pierced through the air at incredible speeds and absorbed that cloud just like before. It grew heavy and fell to the floor. Tide smiled as the lady turned to him "we'll have no more of that, thank you." Tide raised his hand. When he was standing still Tide had done the same thing he did at the beginning, there was a large puddle of water under her. The water rose up and into to her mouth. Tide smiled and closed his hand into a fist. The water froze instantly inside the lady's mouth. "wake the others" Desire told Sky, he nodded and ran with extreme speed to the other members in the group. He started with Life.

The lady did not exactly enjoy having her throat and mouth sealed shut with solid ice. In a desperate attempt to free herself, the lady attempts to melt the ice with gas. It starts to work, but she soon starts to choke from a lack of sustainable air. Her form is clouded in shadow as she reverts to her humanoid shape. She appears to be scared and close to passing out.

Desire ran up to the lady and a rose formed in her hand. Tide relaxed his arm and the ice melted. Sky had woken up half the group already, all of them looked very confused and lost for a couple minutes. By the time Tide had melted all the ice in her mouth Desire was holding the rose up in the lady's face. If she didn't pass out due to lack of air then the rose would get the job done. "good night." Desire said.

The gas build up die to the ice slowly released itself out of the side of her mouth and she inhaled deeply, unintentionally inhaling the scent of the flower. "The Comander of Shadow has been beaten. She goes by the names her foes give her. You have yet to give me a name." The commander collaspes. The doors open.

Desire paused. "a name? We give her a name?" She paused for a minute. "Dawn." She smiled "yes, Dawn. Its a nice name, and I think it works for her." She nodded and turned towards the door. The group members who where put in the trance where very confused as to what exactly was going on. Sky shrugged and walked with the rest of them through the door.

It was as if the group was transported to the outside of a galaxy. Stars twinkled in the distance and all around them. The next door was seen floating a few paces away. A soft fluttering noise echoed around them.

Kyuubi looked around him, his eyes widened, "wow..." he said and smiled "it's like we've reached the gateway." Sky said, he too seemed amazed at the 'room' they where now in. Kyuubi looked at Sky, slightly confused "gateway?" He asked.

"What gateway?" The voice came from a pixie buzzing around the group. She was much smaller than anyone in the group. "Commander of Space, Nebula at your service!" She seemed really happy despite being the group's opponent.
